“I wouldn't leave L.A. if the whole place tipped over into the ocean.”
― Eve Babitz, from Slow Days, Fast Company: The World, the Flesh, and L.A

Through mixed media works, ceramic arts, and traditional paintings, Afters in LA explores the unique ecology, fantastical star-studded lore, and rich cultural tapestry of the City of Angels. Some artists in this exhibition have called LA home for their entire lives; others arrived no more than a year ago; all contribute their distinct observations of a metropolis transforming, sprawling, and surging forward into the future.
